'Gardens' wins big at Emmy Awards
LOS ANGELES, Sept. 20 (UPI) -- "Grey Gardens" won the Emmy Award for outstanding made-for-television movie in Los Angeles Sunday night.
Its co-stars Jessica Lange and Ken Howard picked up the prizes for lead actress and supporting actor in a TV movie or miniseries.
"This is so wonderful," Lange said, clutching her statuette. "I thank you so much. This part was a gift and they don't come around that often for me anymore, so I'm thrilled. I was thrilled to do it and I'm thrilled to be here tonight."May 19, 2010

Grey Gardens set for April telecast on HBO
Drew Barrymore and Jessica Lange play "Little Edie" and "Big Edie" Bouvier Beale, relatives of Jackie Kennedy and the subjects of the cult 1976 documentary Grey Gardens, in HBO's film set to air in April.
"It's the most difficult role I've had in a long time," two-time Oscar-winner Lange said. "It was great to do because I think as an actor, if you don't flex your muscles, you get flaccid and lazy. And I've been very lazy as of late, and it was a wonderful opportunity to really work hard again the way that I was accustomed to at one time."
